Electroplating is the use of electrolysis principle on the surface of some metal plating on a thin layer of other metal or alloy process, is the use of electrolysis to make the surface of metal or other material parts adhere to a layer of metal film technology so as to prevent corrosion, improve wear resistance, electrical conductivity, reflective and enhance the role of beauty.
Electroplating is divided into hanging plating, rolling plating and other ways, mainly with the size of the workpiece to be plated and batch.
Applicable objects of hanging and rolling plating:
Hanging plating is the workpiece mounted on the hanging device, suitable for large parts, each batch of products can be less plating, coating thickness of more than 10 micron process. Such as car bumpers, bicycle handlebars, etc.
Rolling plating is usually suitable for small parts. In a strict sense, roller plating is called roller plating. It is an electroplating process in which a certain number of small parts are placed in a special roller, and the surface of the parts is deposited with various metal or alloy coatings by means of indirect conduction under the rolling state, so as to achieve the surface protection and decoration and various functional purposes.
According to the different use of rollers, the common rolling plating methods in electroplating production are divided into three categories: horizontal rolling plating, inclined rolling plating and vibration rolling plating.
